@@mike-thegamingdad lol damn, I'm just gonna continue on, a longer method I figured out was growing the shrooms again , making new potions and selling them to a different vender, it will take way longer but I still get speech that way

@shayantale the maps are procedurally generated so its likely it will do, you'll have to keep trying to land in that spot until it loads the same map as this one

@@mike-thegamingdad there is a new map interface on starfield can you use that to recommend another planet for an outpost I explored the whole planet and got something that look much like the place of you set the beacon but there was no iron deposit on that location or around it and I'm using Xbox series s and just maybe gaming details is different from the time of video made cause I found the black mountain and the yellowish trrain beside and the steaming earth object but the outpost beacon I've puted on doesn't show aluminum available

@scottpascoe562 yeah the spells really don't cut it against high level opponents on this difficulty. It's a slow burn lol. Keeping Rayya standing is going to be crucial

@Leto85 I'm trying to remember back to this, is that the camp where a group were ambushed and taken prisoner by Falmer? You can find the remains of them deep inside with a note written by a husband/father, who is the missing father from Old Hroldan Inn. If you hang around inside you'll sometimes hear the son ask where he is and the mother says he's off fighting in the war. Or am I thinking of something completely different 🤣

Garlic bread can help cure all diseases. It weighs only 0.1 It's better to bring than the potion of disease which weighs 0.5

@@Leto85 I do his quest a little later on in this series when we complete Oblivion Walker. I think it went: Main Campaign, Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Daedric Quests

@Leto85 I've never managed to get past him, even with high sneak and invisibility. Sometimes I'll make it downstairs and back up and then he notices me leaving and will attack me outside

I haven't finish all its quest, but I managed to complete the quest in hellglow something hehehe. As of now I'm preparing the things I need to bring in my next journey, like hot soup, healing and magicka potion, elsweyr fondue, camping supply. I need those since I'm still kinda slow when battling. A lot of things I need to learn. I'm also leveling up my alchemy so that I could I could create potion with higher attributes. My character is a mage btw. I know its not ideal in survival mode as what you had said in your tutorial. But I wanna challenge myself surviving the cold weather and able to manage my magicka even it gets drained. In real life I dont have sense of direction. So yeah in this game, it will be the same that's why Im making sure to prepare things that I need to bring coz, surely It will take very long time for me to travel. Hahaha The coldness is real. I even experience my character's hand freezing and my monitor screen got very blurry. Thankfully I survive coz I arrived at windhelm on time. (I traveled from winterhold) In the middle of traveling I encountered wolf and necromancers shit that made me jump coz they attack me out of nowhere. Hahah

I have armor zero. So that I could make use n x times effect of stoneflesh. Thats my armor. If zero armor I got 120 armor when using stoneflesh. I think I activated the perk 1/3 of I forgot the name hahaha but its in the alteration tree skill

@aceyoung5196 ah yes Elswyr fondue, I need to make some of that as well 👍🏻. I'd have to go back to Windhelm or Dawnstar though to find the Khaajit Caravans. Playing as a mage can be really fun, and yes it's definitely more challenging! What race are you playing as?

@@mike-thegamingdad My mage character is high elf because they have a passive increase in magicka by 50 points and they also have Highborn ability which regenerate magicka faster for 60 seconds once a day. (although I always forget to use the highborn ability in every battle XD ). Well my magicka is high enough to be able to use different combination spells in my battle. I use conjure flame atronach, cast courage spell to my companion, cast stoneflesh to myself and attack the enemies using destruction spell (flame, shock, etc depends on the element weakness of the enemy). sometimes I use elemental burst if the enemy is far enough. I avoid using it when my companion is near the enemy. I already accidentally killed Lydia twice. I don't want to happen that again hahahaha. I loaded the game to my last save when my companion died. I had learned that there's no way to revive them without cheating. I don't want to use console or updating any program code settings. I don't want to cheat even no one can see it XD Even if I use conjuration, I also attack the enemies. I'm not the type of mage or player that will just stand at the back waiting for my companions to kill the enemies. I have this philosophy, the faster you kill the enemies, the higher the chance you win and avoid death. If there are multiple strong enemies attacking, then kill them one by one to lessen their strengths and number of attacks. Few times I used crossbow with sneak attack to gain experience to level up my sneak and bow skill. There will be times that you will need to use bow. In the future I plan to join Thieves Guild and Dark brotherhood (if that's possible to join both. although I really don't like the dark brotherhood coz they're so bad killing innocent. hahaha but just for the sake of experience. since this is my 1st playthrough). I'm just enjoying my gameplay. I'm not rushing things. Every after dungeon cleared or quest, I just stayed in town for few days.. relaxing.. do talking with folks... walking or riding my horse outside near the town to just chillin' and enjoying the scenery...to unwind... XD then do preparations for my next adventure.

@briandolan270 I'd need a good few more levels and perks to hit 100% magicka cost reduction. If I had level 100 enchanting and everything perked in that tree, I could get 25% cost reduction with a grand/black soul gem per item and no enchanting potions.

@Leto85 I think the problem was it had been in my pocket as I walked for a good, I guess around half an hour or so. I don't know how many times it had had happened, but to build up a lock time of 28 hours, it must have been hundreds of times. Nothing would work I couldn't even switch it off 😂

@Leto85 yeah it's corrected now, I had to wait until the lock time had expired, it happened at about noon on a Sunday so this was mid afternoon on the Monday that I could access it 🤣

@Leto85 yeah my daughter loves it as well! We don't own lots of the expansions still, but we tend to get some when they go on sale.

@@mike-thegamingdad Clever. There are a few on sale now if I remember correctly. I highly recomend the one with horses (cool for your daughter) and for you as well as you can make your own wine in the game. And I recommend For Rent as with that you can buy property, build houses, and rent these out to NPCs. Great to sink your money in. If only Skyrim had such a feature, eh?

@Leto85 haha yeah Odahviing or Bend Will on any other dragon. Very useful for getting around 🤣 I've not made that much use of them, maybe only a handful of times

@Leto85 I can't remember what the difficulty was on this episode, likely adept or expert I imagine. It's been cranked up as we progress and get stronger

@Leto85 yeah alchemy first is definitely the 'efficient' way 😁 I was conscious of not speed levelling this playthrough too much. I knew it would be a long save so I wanted level progression to feel a bit more natural. It's funny looking back at these early episodes now, running around in furs 😁

Found a good way for people who have already done the main forgotten vale quest: unlock the rest point. Activate the portal, the portal takes you to the exact spot, just below the ridge that he fast travels to when clicking on the Forgotten Vale location 🫶🏻✨

@Mhalover_gachMaker the Restless book inside the Winking Skeever? It's possible it could be on the floor somewhere. Sometimes items have a habit of "flying" off when you enter a building. I've had plates, mugs, food and so on flung about
